Man banned from street drinking in Ramsey and Huntingdon

Dear Resident,

A Huntingdon man has been handed a five-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) following persistent anti-social behaviour.

Tony Devlin, 43, was issued with the order at Huntingdon Magistrates' Court today (6 August), placing strict restrictions on where he can go and prohibiting him from possessing alcohol or entering shops that are members of the Huntingdonshire Business Against Crime scheme.

The order is designed to protect local businesses and the wider community from further anti-social behaviour.

It states that he must not:

Enter Huntingdon Town Centre (as defined by the ring road) during the hours of 8am and 6pm daily.

Be drunk in the area of Huntingdon Town Centre or Ramsey (as defined by the ring road and the existing PSPO) at any time.

Be in possession of alcohol in the area of Huntingdon Town Centre or Ramsey (whether an opened or closed vessel/container) at any time.

Enter any retail premises which are members of the Huntingdonshire Business Against Crime scheme (HBAC).
