|
Dear Resident,
We are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a fatal collision between a farm vehicle and a motorbike. Officers and paramedics were called to the B1050 Earith Road, at Willingham, at 8pm on Thursday (2 July) following the collision between the yellow and black crop sprayer and an orange Triumph motorcycle. The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 40s, from Over, near Willingham, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crop sprayer driver, a man aged in his 30s from Willingham, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been bailed until 1 October. Sergeant Mark Atkins said: “I am appealing to anyone who might have seen the collision or the vehicles in the moments before to get in touch. I would also like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage. “Thank you to the local community for their patience while the road was closed.” Anyone with information or footage should use reference 35/49548/26 and report it through the force website.
Kind regards, | ||
