Dear Resident, We wanted to update you on recent action taken by neighbourhood officers in Arbury and Chesterton as part of ongoing work to tackle anti-social behaviour and criminality linked to electric motorbikes in the area. This morning, officers carried out a number of warrants at addresses in the city. The activity forms part of continued efforts to address concerns raised by the community around nuisance riding, associated disorder, and wider criminal behaviour. These warrants were intelligence-led and follow ongoing patrols and reports from residents. Tackling the misuse of electric motorbikes remains a priority locally, particularly where they are being used in a way that puts others at risk or is linked to crime. We understand the impact this type of behaviour can have on the community, and we hope today’s action provides reassurance that we are listening and taking positive steps to address the issue. Our work in this area is ongoing, and you can continue to expect to see officers carrying out patrols and taking enforcement action where necessary. If you have information about anti-social behaviour or the use of illegal bikes in your area, please report it to us via our website or by calling 101. Always call 999 in an emergency. Thank you for your continued support. Kind regards, Inspector Shawn Emms | ||
