|
Dear Resident, We are appealing for witnesses after a man was killed in a collision on the A16 near Newborough. The man, in his 30s from Peterborough, was driving a silver Vauxhall Corsa when it was involved in a collision with a HGV at about 8.20am on Thursday (2 April). He was pronounced dead at the scene. A 52-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving when under the influence of drugs. He has since been released under investigation.
Officers are appealing for information and dashcam footage from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the vehicles in the time leading up to it. Anyone with information should contact us online here quoting Operation Lime. Those without internet access should call 101. Please do not use eCops to report information. Kind regards, | ||
