Arrest made in connection with recent mobile phone thefts

Dear Resident,

Yesterday, the Cambridge neighbourhood team made an arrest in connection with recent phone thefts in the city.

Anyone with a mobile phone is advised to keep it out of sight when not in use and be cautious when using it in public. Store your phone in a zipped bag or pocket and keep it close to you.

iPhone users are urged to consider disabling the iPhone control centre on the locked screen in their settings to prevent thieves being able to put the phone in ‘aeroplane’ mode when the phone is locked.
