More than 40 vehicles stopped during day of action

Dear Resident,

Our Rural Crime Action Team (RCAT) carried out an operation last week with local neighbourhood officers in Wisbech to tackle rural crime and road safety near the county border. 

We were joined on Op Chambers by Norfolk’s Op Moonshot team and West Norfolk NPT, as well as the DVSA, DVLA, HMRC, Environment Agency, and DataTag.

Over a six-hour period:

🚗 45 vehicles stopped

🚗 12 prohibitions issued

🚗 Ten Traffic Offence Reports (TORs) issues

🚗 Eight vehicles seized

🚗 Six arrests
