Dear Resident,

On Wednesday morning, we were contacted by a member of the public who raised concerns via our website about cars parking dangerously on the corner of Star Road and Padholme Road in Eastfield.

Yesterday, our neighbourhood officers patrolled the area and spoke to those they saw about the issue. One ticket was issued to a car parked on double yellow lines and the pavement.

Illegal parking such as on pavements, at junctions and on double yellow lines can put both pedestrians and other road users at risk.
