Dear Resident,

In response to your concerns about illegal parking in Whittlesey, we have been on patrol of the hotspot areas in a bid to tackle the issue. While no tickets were issued on this occasion, it was great to talk to those we saw out and about enjoying the sunshine.

We also spent some time carrying out speed checks along the A605 in Coates after being made aware of concerns by Fenland District Council and the local speed watch group. Fortunately, no one triggered our speed gun to receive a fine but words of advice was given to some motorists about their driving.

Patrols to tackle both these issues will continue when we can. You never know where we may be next… we can’t be everywhere, but we could be anywhere.
