Four vehicles stopped during Chatteris speed checks

Dear Resident,

Officers from our Rural Crime Action Team (RCAT) spent some time in Chatteris on Tuesday to carry out speed checks.

75 vehicles passed them in total, and four were stopped for speeding - the highest being 38mph in a 30mph zone! Three drivers were given words of advice, and one was given a Traffic Offence Report (TOR).

It was lovely to hear such positive feedback from the residents, thank you for stopping to talk to us!

You never know where we could be… we can’t be everywhere, but we could be anywhere.
