Drugs and vehicle nuisance discussed during 'cop in a shop' event

Dear Resident,

Earlier this week, we held one of our ‘cop in a shop’ events at Netherton Post Office to give you the opportunity to talk to us about any issues in the area.

We had a variety of crime prevention leaflets on hand and discussed a range of issues that you were concerned about, such as:

  • Speeding in Ledbury Road and Atherstone Avenue
  • Parking issues in Bradwell Road
  • E-scooters being used recklessly on footpaths in Lindridge Walk and Walcot Walk
  • Drug dealing in the park in Buckland Close
  • Shoplifting and associated retail crime
  •

We were also told about a defective streetlight in Walcot Walk, which has been passed on to Peterborough City Council.

It was lovely to meet all of you, and thank you for stopping to chat to us!

For future opportunities to talk to us about issues in your area, keep an eye out on here or on our ‘Policing Peterborough’ Facebook page.

Alternatively, you can highlight your concerns to us here.

    Kind regards,
