Dear Resident,

Yesterday evening your neighbourhood officers were in Fenstanton following concerns around electric scooters being used anti socially in the village.

While on patrol they seized two scooters for no insurance.

E-scooters are only legal on private land with the landowner's permission.

We know these vehicles are popular and many people may be buying them for themselves or their children but unaware that they are breaking the law by riding one.

The penalties for riding e-scooters illegally include seizing the vehicle and reporting the rider for driving offences.
