Vans are often targeted by thieves for the tools stored inside, here's a few tips to prevent this happening to you: 

1. Consider using a lockable cabinet within your vehicle to store tools. 

2. If you have to leave tools in a vehicle overnight, mark them clearly with your name, company name and address. Items that are clearly marked are less desirable and more difficult to sell on. If they are stolen it makes it much easier for us to be able to return them should they be found.

3. Take photos of items of value, make a note of the serial numbers and consider registering them online at a property register site.

4. Ideally remove your tools from your vehicle when you aren't using them.

5. Park your vehicle in a well lit area with CCTV.
