Stolen motorbike recovered thanks to reports from the public

Dear Resident,

We were made aware by a member of the public yesterday about a suspected stolen motorbike which had been dumped in the woods off Malborne Way in Orton Malborne.

Checks confirmed it had been stolen from Stamford in November, so we’ve recovered it and will be returning it to its rightful owner.

Anti-social riding of motorbikes, mopeds and quadbikes across the southern sector of Peterborough is currently a priority for the local neighbourhood team, but in order to continue tackling the issue, we need your help!

Please continue to report any anti-social riding as well as any information about where bikes are being stored or dumped. This information helps us identify hotspot areas and those causing the issues.

You can report to us by calling 101 or via our website.

If a crime is in progress, or someone is in immediate danger, always call 999.

Kind regards,
