Dear Resident,

Just after midnight this morning our officers were called to a burglary in progress in Main Street, Littleport.

They arrived within four minutes to a group of boys running from the scene.

After chasing them across fields, tracks and residential streets, all four were caught up with and arrested.

The boys, aged between 13 and 16 were returned to their homes and interviewed. An investigation remains ongoing.
