Thanks to the work of Neighbourhood Watch, residents in parts of Millfield and Eastfield have been supplied with home safety kits!

We joined them last night in the Monument Street area, handing out the kits to residents to help secure their homes as we head into the darker months. The kit includes a range of items, such as specialist window and door locks, security marking equipment, a cash/jewellery safe and 24-hour timers.

We spoke to them about how they can use these kits to security mark their valuables such as electronics, tools, and garden equipment. This will help us get them back to them should they ever get stolen.

As part of our Safer Streets 5 project, we were also joined by the Bobby Scheme who installed 15 video doorbells for residents and provided them with crime prevention advice.
