After being charged with four theft offences in May and failing to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court in June, Ricky Lake, 35, has been jailed after he kept stealing while waiting to appear in court.

Lake is a well-known offender in Wisbech, and we hope this work shows we are listening to your concerns and will continue to tackle prolific offenders.

Shoplifting and associated crime in Wisbech is a priority for our local officers and reporting from businesses, regardless of the value, allows us to continue identifying offenders and putting them before the courts.
