Charges in connection with theft from vehicles


 

Dear Resident,

 

We have charged a man in connection with thefts and attempted thefts from vehicles in Wisbech.

 

The 37-year-old, of no fixed address, was arrested in Golding Place, Wisbech, on Tuesday evening.

 

He has since been charged with five offences:

 

  • Attempted theft from a vehicle in Second Avenue on 15 July
  • Attempted theft from a vehicle in Mount Drive on 15 July
  • Theft of sunglasses and a locking wheel nut from a vehicle in Ramnoth Road on 15 July
  • Theft of cash, two pairs of glasses and a rucksack from a vehicle in Winceby Close on 22 July
  • Theft of two bottles of aftershave from a vehicle in Winceby Close on 22 July
  • He has been remanded in custody to appear at Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court today.
