House closed by neighbourhood officers in response to community concerns

Dear Resident,

In response to community concerns about drug dealing and associated anti-social behaviour (ASB) surrounding 11 Duke Street in Wisbech, we have served a closure order on the property.

The order, which is in place until 21 October, is now closed to everyone, including the legal tenant, with the exception of employees of Clarion Housing Association, Cambridgeshire County Council, and the emergency services.

Failure to comply with the order is a criminal offence which could result in imprisonment for up to three months, a fine, or both.

We have been working to tackle the concerns around this address for some time, but further action had to be taken after issues were still occurring.

We hope the closure shows we are listening to your concerns and will continue to take action such as applying for court orders when needed.

You can read more about it on our website.

Kind regards,
