Dear Resident,

We have been made aware of ongoing issues at an abandoned building in Nene Parade, Benwick, in particular criminal damage, anti-social behaviour and young people setting fires at the property.

We have worked closely with the council, Cambs fire service and the owner of the building to prevent further issues. Work has started on boarding the house up to prevent people entering it without permission.

We will be patrolling the area regularly and talking to residents in a bid to deter the issues. If you ever see us out and about, don’t be afraid to come and say hi, we’d love to talk to you.
