Local officers discuss your concerns with Neighbourhood Watch

Dear Resident,

Yesterday morning, our neighbourhood officers met up with Alan Paul, Chair of Peterborough Neighbourhood Watch, and went on a walk around the Woodston and Fletton area.

During this walk, we went into the local corner shops and discussed ‘ATM watch’, which is an initiative led by the Neighbourhood Watch and supported by us around reporting suspicious activity with ATMs in the area, and to prevent ram-raids. You can read more about this initiative on our website.

When walking through Fletton Fields, we noticed and reported the graffiti tags that were popping up.

Our walk ended with chatting to some lovely residents and children who were enjoying the park and outside areas!

All in all, it was a positive meeting where we were able to talk about the ways that the force can work with Neighbourhood Watch to tackle the issues brought to our attention by the community.

If you have any concerns that you would like us to discuss in our next walkabout, you can highlight them to us by filling out our community survey.

Is helping us in tackling the issues in your area something that you’re interested in? You can find more information about Neighbourhood Watch and how to get involved on their website.

Kind regards,
