Dear Resident,

As part of our work to tackle issues around parking in Millfield, our eastern neighbourhood team have been out issuing more tickets to those parked obstructively or illegally.

Last week, 26 tickets were issued, with 16 tickets being issued in just one hour by the team! Officers even witnessed people struggling to get pushchairs past the cars parked on the pavement.

As well as issuing tickets, the team have been educating drivers about suitable parking and areas where they are able to park without obstructing anyone else.

This work is a result of the feedback that we have had from the community.
