Stolen car recovered on ASB patrols

Dear Resident,

Over the last 24 hours we’ve been back out at locations identified as ‘hotspots’ for anti-social behaviour (ASB), this time in Bretton, Fengate and the city centre!

While no concerns where identified this time in the city centre and the Pyramid Centre in Bretton, we were approached by members of the public in Potters Way, Fengate, who expressed their concerns about youths who had been causing ASB, particularly hanging around a blue Mercedes.

We carried out checks on the vehicle and turns out it had been stolen in 2022. Enquiries are ongoing, but and early indication is that it was stolen in a burglary in the north of the city! The car has been recovered for forensic examination.

If you ever see us patrolling in various parts of the city, do come up and say hi!

Alternatively, you can find out more information on ASB and report any concerns to us on our website.

Kind regards,
